About the Bed-Rock Festival

The Bed-Rock festival is run by Bedford Metal, who are a group of local volunteers and music enthusiasts.

2006 saw the Bed-Rock festival held at one location in Bedford, with three stages, on just one day. This year we're expanding!

2007's Bed-Rock festival will span two venues in Bedford (The Civic Theatre and Esquires) covering three stages over two days at the end of July. For this year's festival we're also aiming to double the number of acts we had last year.

Over the course of the two days Bed-Rock will feature over 50 bands, from some of Bedford's favourites to well known touring bands.

As well as the bands we are pleased to annouce the return of the air guitar competition, sponsored by Charles Wells, with a fantastic Gibson electric guitar for the winner! Heats will begin Friday in Dannys Bar, Esquires with the Grand Final taking place on the Saturday evening.
